Jerry Blumenthal | Thanks, Charles, I've already discussed that with the people involved.
They assure me that that can NOT happen, because they would then open up a separate patient account for that person!!! That is not how I designed the software to work, but if they have been happy doing that, that's ok with me. Still, I do think you are correct that I should have some kind of check for it, and I will try to make sure. Jerry Blumenthal | Manfredt-
What kind of feedback do you mean? I actually wrote this app in 1977 (!) on an Apple//, in Applesoft. I changed it rather dramatically when I purchased an IBM PC a few years later, and bought a copy of a program named "Turbo Pascal", the manual for which I have sitting in my library, staring at me. I have very warm feelings for TP. Initially, I devised my own methods of storing records on the Apple. When I went to the PC, I used Btrieve for my first iteration of the program; I actually used variant records at that time, since that mimicked how I had stored records in the Applesoft program. When I moved to using TP, I also moved to Paradox and had to learn about how a database worked. Much later in the game, well after using Paradox with Delphi, I switched to dbIsam. I dont know if this is what you were interested in, or if it was some other aspect. Let me know.
