Cast Date as Char Error? [4.25 build 2] |

"mike" | Hi
Recently upgraded to 4.25 build 2 from around 4.19. Casting a date to string no longer seems to work as expected in select statements. Appears to truncate the date to the first 3 characters of the date:- e.g. Cast(MyDate as Char(10)) gives '200' for 2007-01-01 Thanks Mike Garvin |

Ricardo Oliveira | Hi,
I have the same problem too with integer fields. This bug is causing our applications to stop working correctly and it is urgent that we correct them. Reverting to the previous version of DBISAM is not an option because 4.25 build 2 corrects the IF bug that also affected us. We need a fix to this bug as soon as possible. Do you have any idea when will build 3 be released? Thank you, Ricardo Oliveira Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: > Mike, > > <<Casting a date to string no longer seems to work as expected in select > statements. << It don't working in build3 for DBSys and Delphi2006 edition >> Are you sure that you've got the correct build installed ? We test this in an automated fashion before it is uploaded, and I just tried it again and it works fine here. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
