I have a huge table (1.5Gb) with almost 8M records.

I´ve made a test with DBSYS applying the following SQL statement:

update hlan set sal=0,san=0

Both fields "sal" and "san" are not indexed and does not belong to any index
and are BCD fields. After some period the app fires a write lock error
(#10227). There is no transaction involved and I copy this table to another
machine and repeat the process with the same problem (to isolate hardware
problems). I have already repaired the table and the problem still happen.

Scenario
Windows XP (1Gb RAM/100Gb HD):
Without network
Local DB access
DBISAM 4.22 Build 4

I have to upgrade my DBISAM to last v4 build, but I have to ask you how
stable is the last version ? Is there any pending issues ? Will be a next v4
build soon ?

It looks like I will be doing a new build in the next day or so, but the
only really notable issue existing with 4.25 Build 6 is the remote
encryption/RemoteReadSize issue:
