Cannot read unlock the table |

Marcus | I have an application that uses DBISAM v3 in local connection mode to access a table on a
network share on a windows server. On some PCs, (Windows Vista) I get this error: "DBISAM Engine Error # 10226 Cannot read unlock the table" I looked up this error in Elevate's online documentation, and it said: "This error should never occur so if it does you should contact Elevate Software immediately for a resolution to the problem." Also, with this same application and the same PCs when the application used to be hosted on a VMWare Server system, I used to get errors saying that it could not write lock the same table. Why would I get all of these locking and concurrency issues on just one table? Thanks... |

If there is any type of issue between DBISAM and the actual OS, then it is possible for such errors to occur. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I'll just chalk this one up to windows weirdness. Thanks. |
