Why is this query so slow?

select sum(bedrag) as saldo from adm_journaal
where periode<202101
and rekeningnummer=12002

1. Please do not post 42Mb to a normal newsgroup - post the attachment to the binaries

2. running it here I get

>>>>> 1 rows affected in 0.016 seconds

That's not slow in my view so there must be other things affecting it.

Questions:
1. Have you tried running it in DBSys and checking the execution plan?
2. Is this being run natively or over a LAN, or a WAN

I'm sure there are others but none occur right now.
