Once you have the editor totally under control can we have a script debugger? Is it even theoretically possible? Roy Lambert |

On a sightly more serious note it would be helpful if there was a button to check a script as far as possible without executing it and altering the database. Or do 3rd party (free of course) tools already exist to do this? Roy Lambert |

<< Once you have the editor totally under control can we have a script debugger? Is it even theoretically possible? >> Sure. In fact, I've had it on the list for months now and I've just been waiting on things to quiet down a bit before I tackle it. It's pretty necessary, especially with really complex scripts that are executing dynamic SQL that is built in the script, like what you're doing. You need to be able to see the value of the SQL before it is executed. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
