new blog post that you may find interesting: I tried to reply in the Elevate Web Builder area but am not permitted to do so. That is why I have posted in the ElevateDB area. Many people look at 'DelphiFeeds.com'. As yet I haven't seen the blog post appear there. You may want to follow that up so you can reach a wider audience. Regards, Peter Evans |

<< Many people look at 'DelphiFeeds.com'. As yet I haven't seen the blog post appear there. You may want to follow that up so you can reach a wider audience. >> Thanks. I've thought about doing so, but we also have a *lot* of mundane announcements in there that may not be appropriate for Delphi Feeds. We *are*, however, expanding our advertising lately, and are looking at Delphi Feeds as a place to advertise. We also did some test ads on Stack Overflow this month. I searched for the word "blog" but it could not be found. I then took the link via the email. I could see the blog in question. It was not possible to see earlier blogs as is usually the case on tens of millions of other blog sites. It doesn't make sense - if a lot of the blog posts are mundane then the solution is simple - spice them up or don't put them there in the first place! Regards, Peter Evans |

But my main thought was that you could have a tag that the Delphi Feeds feed does a search on, so it doesn't include the updates. So you'd tag general articles as "article" or "feed" or something, and then the product updates wouldn't be included as they'd not have that tag. I only follow Delphi Feeds via Twitter, so filter actively. You should post your articles on Twitter too, so they can be retweeted easily. "Twitter is the new RSS" as they say. -- Matthew Jones |

<< Today I went to your home page. I searched for the word "blog" but it could not be found. >> Are you talking about an in-page search, or something else ? The word "Blog" is right there in the header on the bottom right. << I then took the link via the email. I could see the blog in question. If you look at the breadcrumbs at the top, you will see a link to the blog itself with *all* of the blog posts, in order. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
