Thank you all..

I think that in the end it was due to different versions. Even though I deinstalled and installed both server and manager, I obviously forgot to restart my computer. After trying with different versions I managed to get it working with restarting computer after deinstallation of old versions and after installation of new versions.
Now it works!!!
Sometimes even the simplest solutions work Smile

added in 2.04.  So if you create a database using 2.03 and then attempt to
access it with 2.04 or 2.05, it will show this message.  You can also see
this when attempting to connect to a 2.03 server engine with  2.04 or 2.05.

This is 100% correct - issues like this are caused by the EDB Manager
expecting certain pieces of catalog information to exist in the server
engine due to new minor releases.

However, I probably should, in the future, start checking the server engine
version and conditionally disabling this functionality.
