Thread The quality of EDB

"Ole Willy Tuv"
Since I'm posting relatively many bug reports in the EDB newsgroup, I'd like
to stress the following statement, such that my bug reports and
communication with Tim is not misunderstood:

I'm very impressed with the overall quality of EDB at this early stage. I do
miss some basic features like SQL scripts etc., and yes there are a few
deviations from common industry behavior (some already addressed), but
overall the quality of product is impressively good considered the early
stage of the life-cycle.

Tim, albeit defensive in many situations, has IMO done a quality-job with
EDB.

I'm basically done with my own testing and evaluation of EDB, and I wish Tim
and his user group best of luck with their EDB ventures.

Regards,
Ole Willy Tuv

And now that his job was done,
The tall rider in the pale horse rode off into the sunset,
Heading west into the bad lands of db hell,
To tame a lawless town called SQL,
Where no one knew his name.

Ok, ok, so I guess I'm not the only one having a hard time picturing
Clint Eastwood with a Norwegian accent. Smile

Ole,

Thanks for posting this. Your opinion is much appreciated ( I guess/hope I'm
speaking for a lot of us). I think you (and other testers) gave Tim a lot of
'wood' to make EDB a solid house. And I think Tim has really succeeded in
this.

Regards, Harry

I have a nasty feeling that this particular Norwegian "version" of Clint
Eastwood would fall off the horse long before he got out of town Smiley

C'mon, I won't have anything to do if you stop now. Smiley  Besides, I'm sure
there is more that needs correcting.
