Unfortunately it wasn't the back fence, but hey I can't expect too much after 6 months of hibernation. Hopefully your green fees are too expensive so you can get out and enjoy a game at least once a week. We've got 50 courses within a 30 minute drive, and maybe another 50 courses within 60-90 minutes. This helps to keep the prices down. Dave |

"Malcolm" | Come to bonnie Scotland and play golf *all year round* ..
... well now that I am retired I can pick and choose to miss the odd *really* cold, wet, windy, snowy, frosty day. When the ground is frozen the balls run for .. ever. The trouble is putting on rock hard greens. |

BTW, I tried playing golf when the ground is frozen but the 3 feet of snow makes finding balls nearly impossible and holds up the group behind me. Dave |

Charalabos Michael | Hello Ole,

Sesious means serious so the patient is loosing his ability to write correctly ... so ... My diagnosis would probably be a abnormal disorder in the brain function causing the phenomenon called "SQLMania Disease". The treatment for this disease i a cup of Greek wine every day for a month ... -- Charalabos Michael - [Creation Power] - http://www.creationpower.gr |

Green fees vary widely. At my course within the City boundary a visitor has to stump up £20 in winter or £29 in summer per round. Some country courses may be a little less .. but the classy joints can be 3 figures per head. Annual membership subs can be from £300 to £3000 .. then there's the courses where you can't apply for membership - you need to be invited to join! This winter has been very mild and wet with only a couple of days of frost, but last winter saw snowmen standing all over the course a couple of times. You could use those yellow or orange balls in the snow but on no account use them in the Autumn/Fall! Malcolm |

Thanks for posting that. I was wondering what the status was, having been
too busy to read up recently. It gives me confidence for a project starting in a few months that I can go straight to the ElevateDB I bought. /Matthew Jones/ |
