This is awesome, simplifying the installers and being able to go either direction on the fly. Kudos Tim!

I want to make sure I'm clear:

1) I've only been working with ANSI, however with the new IDE's I've been wanting to make a change to Unicode. My main project uses client/server. What steps are needed to convert them to Unicode?

2) Since I've only been dealing with ANSI, I'm assuming from the Manager application, I don't need to do any conversion of my connections?  It's not mission critical for me to reset my connections up anyways.

You'll want to wait a little bit.  My next bit to add is a migrator for
*ElevateDB*, and that will allow you to simply migrate your databases from
ANSI to Unicode.  That's the hardest part.  After that, it's simply a matter
of changing the character set in the ElevateDB Server configuration:

http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=edb2sql&topic=Starting_Configuring_Server

(search for mentions of "Character Set").

Actually, no, you'll still want to run the Unicode fix utility that comes
with the ElevateDB Additional Software and Utilities download.  That will
ensure that your ANSI sessions are marked as such.  The ElevateDB Manager is
actually now always compiled with a Unicode Delphi compiler, so it will
default to treating your ANSI sessions as Unicode sessions until you run the
utility or manually edit each session and change the character set for each
(first page on the Edit Session dialog).

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
