Well, they're both pretty stable, but EDB is certainly starting from a more
stable point than DBISAM ever did.  As for speed, I think you will find that
EDB is as fast or faster in almost every category.

Much nicer product comparison.

However, I see "Text search on non-indexed columns" isn't available in ElevateDB shame. I've found it a very useful feature.

I hope that the alternative isn't using lots of LIKE's
