Hershcu Sorin | Hello
Do I have any options to run Edbsrvr as a service and open the ElevateDB Server window. I want to have some control over the open session and other settings Thanks, Sorin |

My understanding is that Windows will not allow a service to do any interaction with the user interface. I've been pondering this issue as well with a project I'm working on. I've thought about a creating a second program that can communicate with the server/service through maybe an ini file or a database table that the server would periodically check. I think there are more elegant communication solutions out there but they are sadly above my skillset. Dale |
