Mike | Hi,
The option Large File support is currently not enabled in a database. Can I activate it without any problems and how can I do that when running EDB server as service (no GUI)? |

<< The option Large File support is currently not enabled in a database. Can I activate it without any problems and how can I do that when running EDB server as service (no GUI)? >> As long as all data access is occurring only through the EDB Server, then yes, you can enable it without issue. To do so in an EDB Server running as a service, follow the steps here: https://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=edb2sql&topic=Starting_Configuring_Server under "Starting the ElevateDB Server as a Normal Application Under Windows" to get to the Server Options dialog. From there you can turn on the Large File Support setting on the Configuration page and then click on OK to save the changes. Then, just exit the ElevateDB Server that is running as normal application, and use the Services control panel applet to restart the ElevateDB Server service. The service should now be running using large file support. However, please note that the upcoming 2.28 version of EDB gets rid of the large file support *option* and large file support is *always on*, so you might want to simply wait and the problem will go away automatically by simply using the new 2.28 EDB Server. The large file support option should have been ditched a while ago, but it involves a *lot* of client API/configuration/UI changes, so I was putting it off.
