Janusz Cyran | Roy,
I have it at the same location on Windows 7 machine, but I cannot locate that file on Windows XP. I have even run the search on the whole disk without any result. Janusz Cyran |

If you start EDBManager what happens? If it starts OK and you can make changes that are the next time the ini file is there somewhere. Roy Lambert |

Janusz Cyran | Roy,
nothing bad can be seen. I would follow the code in Elevate DB Manager to look what really happens but I have Delphi 6 and cannot compile it :/ Janusz Cyran |

In that case you have the ini file. Just try searching you machine for e*.ini it will be there. Roy Lambert |

Janusz Cyran | Hidden folders are turned off. The search on entire disk provides no results. Petty but irritating problem. I will have to try to compile the manager and locate the problem.

What are you using to search the disk? The built in Windows tools are pretty hopeless. Roy Lambert |

Janusz Cyran | To close the thread - I have found the file. I just didn't set the proper advanced option in Windows search, I thought wrongly it is enough to switch on the visibility of hidden files in folders advanced options list. So it seems Windows search tool is not so bad in the end
