Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Steve,
Did you get anywhere with this ? I had another report of this from a customer, but they were also using a customized version of the EDB Server. Just to be sure, I ran the entire EDB test suite through with memory leak checking turned on, and everything came back clean except for some minor random string leaks in the RTL. Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Steve,
And I have my answer about the string leaks: https://sourceforge.net/p/fastmm/bugs/41/ The test projects are all console applications, and the reported leaks are only from tests using D7 or lower that have string variables in the .dprs. All I need to do is clear the strings out and the reported leaks will go away. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Steve Gill | Hi Tim,
<< Did you get anywhere with this ? I had another report of this from a customer, but they were also using a customized version of the EDB Server. >> Sorry for the late reply. I only just noticed this. I didn't have any luck tracking down the cause. The customer hasn't had that error again so I don't really know what was causing it. = Steve |
