Upgrading EDB server 2.24 to 2.36 |

Mario Enríquez Open Consult | I'm planning on upgrade a server that is currently on 2.24 to 2.36 build 3.
This server host about 8 databases, has as many store and 4~6 jobs. Should I just replace the edbsrvr.exe with the appropiate version or is something more that should be done? Regards, Mario |

Main one that might be worthwhile to check on is since 2.28 largefilesupport being default option - as long as all clients access EDB data thru your EDBServer you're OK but should anything else access those data direct then they should be on same new version. Build 3 is very new and is a hotfix for build 2 with problems. We use 2.36b1 now for a while without problems. We will wait the next 2-4 weeks before updating to latest version ... |
