Dear Uli,

So if sometime types "*" = Give me all the records then you have a
problem ... Smile

1. That should be easy to avoid.
2. If someone does it: it's his problem, not yours.

Thank you for all answers. I am registered user of EDB, but now I must find any other DB
solution. I understand, that speed is very very important,
but my customers want accurate scrolling. I cannot use DevEx Grid - in my table is too
many records. Absolutely best way for me would be opinion - Enable/Disable accurate
positioning in EDB.

Dear Michael,

I used DBISAM few year ago, and it is really best !  Unfortunately, now I want Unicode.
I have tested lot of databases and Absolute DB would be useful for my now ... But DBISAM
with Unicode would be absolutely best Smile

Does Absolute have the ability to correctly position the button on a DBGrid scroll bar?

Michael,

<< Could you possible reconsider this, more and more people are realizing
that they needed it when they move to EDB. >>

I've explained this several times already.  You can't just add this in the
code, it is something that requires the index format to support it, and we
have no intention of changing the index format any time soon.
