Starting EDB Manager Without Reopening Last Sessions. |

Steve Gill | If I forget to close sessions before closing EDB Manager (tsk tsk), next time I start EDB Manager it takes a lonnnggg time to open (the splashscreen is displayed for a long time) as it restores everything that was open when it was closed.
Is there a key combination (or secret handshake) that will override the reopening of everything in the known universe? Fanx. = Steve |

Steve Gill | I found this can be achieved by changing a setting in the INI file before opening EDB Manager:
Save Explorer State=0 A more elegant solution would be better. = Steve |

File | Preferences | General | Current State Its how I have it set, and does essentially what you do by hacking the ini file. It does mean you have to re-open everything you were working on but I can't see any way round that Roy Lambert |

Steve Gill | Hi Roy,
<< File | Preferences | General | Current State >> Doh! I didn't even think of checking Preferences. It will have to do until I can convince Tim to add some sort of override, eg. hold down the <shift> key when opening EDB Manager. Thanks. = Steve |
