Installer Tweak |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Tim,
I think that when updating, the preferred methodology had been to do an uninstall then install, which is fine and keeps the code pretty clean and Delphi "happier". Could you add some minor functionality in the installer to do a previous installation check and then ask to uninstall first? Then if yes, do the uninstall before install? Just saves steps in going to Control Panel to run the uninstallers and makes life a tiny bit easier. Thanks! Lance [Team Elevate] -- |

It would make my life a little easier also, since I'm constantly installing/uninstalling when testing. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Awesome...
It would even be nice to remember the path too, since I don't install the comps itself under Program Files and install them all under a special components folder. Maybe later work on not trying to tax the maximum Windows path for folders <grin>. They do make sense and are organized, especially for multi-IDE installs.
