Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | Reordering columns in the table display on a wide (ie lots of big columns) table is a bit difficult because the grid doesn't scroll when you reach the left margin. You have to drop the column, scroll the grid, get the column and move to the margin again. Took me 5 goes to get the column where I wanted it.

We're having to use a header control combined with a DBGrid with its headers turned off in order to make the whole thing look decent on XP and Vista. I might end up just making the EDB Manager only compilable under Delphi 2009, which has a lot of visual improvements of this nature. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Go the whole hog and buy some pretty controls >> I'm still trying to keep the utilities so that they can be customized by the end developer without having to purchase anything else. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

If its only going to be compilable in D2009 I'd guess you've cut a lot out anyway - certainly me. Roy Lambert |
