Problem when upgrading to 1.09 B3 |

IanH | (Vista64)
I uninstalled 1.08 using the control panel and removed the design time package from Delphi 2007 using the Project Options dialog. I then ran the 1.09 installation file and tried to open an existing project containing ElevateDB components. When I try and build this, I get the error message "Could not create the output file 'C:\Program files (x86) ElevateDB VCL Standard ....etc.... \code\edbconsts.dcu" Any ideas? - This file already exists at this location? I don't think I had this problem when installing 1.08. Thanks Ian |

That was my first thought, but dismissed it because the previous version was installed there and was working fine. I've tried installing 1.09 to another directory and it's fine so you were right. Tim - Perhaps this should be considered within the installer? Thanks Roy. IanH |

<< Tim - Perhaps this should be considered within the installer? >> Yeah, I'm removing all source code from the \code subdirectory in the next build due to these types of issues. If someone wants to modify something, they can manually move things around as necessary. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
