To further put your mind at ease, even though it makes no real
difference at all: I formally withdraw my informal request to maintain
support for the old IDEs.

Read the thread "ElevatDB Phase Out Plan - Revisited". You may yet keep on
using this DB.

I agree, that D7 shouldnt be dropped for a very long time. This is the most
stable Delphi version and isn't .NET related. Many, many of us still use D7.

I think you'll find that that decision was rescinded. There's another thread "ElevateDB Phase out plan - revisited" which goes into magnificent detail.
