DBISAM > ElevateDB Memory Table Performance |

Edwin Lau | Currently, I am using DBISAM 4 as a memory table to manage a simple
table of filenames generated from a directory search. The table generally would contain anything from 10 to perhaps about 15,000 records. I noticed that when the list gets a little longer, it sort of gets a little slow. I was wondering if I upgrade to the ElevateDB, would there be a noticeable improvement in performance ? Thanks. The easy, and best, way to find out is to try it If you don't want to install ElevateDB post a cut down DBISAM version of your app to the binaries and I'll alter to ElevateDB and test run both versions for you. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |
