Double-Shutdown |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Tim,
When running the EDB Server as an application, I have to call Windows shut down or restart twice to get windows to shut down / restart. Alternatively, I can shut down the server, then shut down / restart Windows. I verified behaviour in 1.09 b2. I thought originally it was just my version of the EDB server, but it isn't. I had DBISAM running as a service as well. For testing, I completely removed any EDB / DBISAM services and any on start up. Rebooted Windows and then tried a reboot and it properly rebooted only doing it once. I then ran the EDBServer and then tried to shut down, and it wouldn't shut down correctly. This is on XP SP2 as a VM. The testing was on the pre-compiled EDB Server. Lance Rasmussen |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Thanks Tim,
It's been driving me nuts for a while, but was in the train of thought to isolate it down to which EDB was the cultprit. On my "real" machine, it does it too. But it's Vista.... so ANYTHING that doesn't work is usually atributed to it being Vista. One other question - did this start happening with 1.09 B2 only ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | I tested with B1 and B2.
I believe it was doing it in 1.08 but not sure. I'll have to see if I still have the installs and will try and dupe.
