Another collation question |

If a column is defined as (say) ANSI_CI and I want a case insensitive comparison I seem to recall you said I wouldn't need to do anything. If the collation was defined as ANSI I'd have to add COLLATE ANSI_CI to the test. My question is, if the collation is defined as ANSI_CI does adding COLLATE ANSI_CI have any impact on performance?
