Reverse Engineer |

Michael Riley ZilchWorks | The reverse engineer tool is great. It would be nice if I could pick and choose the objects to reverse engineer. For example It would be nice to right-click on a table and get an option to Reverse Engineer just that table. It would also be nice to select which objects (tables, views, stored procs) to be reverse engineered.
Just my $0.02. Michael Riley GySgt USMC Retired www.zilchworks.com |

Uli Becker | Michael,
<< It would be nice if I could pick and choose the objects to reverse engineer. Drag&Drop the table from the treeview into the script-windows between begin and end. Same technique works with procedure, functions and indexes. Regards Uli |

You can get partway there - basic table definition, no indices, triggers etc Open the database, create a new sql window, from the treeview open tables and drag the table you want across to the new sql window - magic happens Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

That's a nice Easter Egg. I just tried it with a New SQL window and it works also. Wait until David C. here's about this. Michael Riley GySgt USMC Retired www.zilchworks.com |

Uli Becker | Roy,
> Shame it can't all be with one operation True. But hopefully we'll get a possibility to reverse engineer a table with all indexes and triggers in one operation. I think, Tim has it on his list. Regards Uli |

David Cornelius Cornelius Concepts | Wow! Roy (and of course, Tim!), that is the coolest trick in EDB Manager I
never knew about!! Thanks so much for pointing that out--I had no idea! Very Nifty! Thanks again, David Cornelius Cornelius Concepts |
