>Yes, and when it prompts them, it makes sure to make that SQL window visible >so that they can *see* what they have/haven't done. Plus, remember that you >can undo the text even after it has been saved. I must say I never noticed that one. Generally I'm doing one-offs or testing in EDBManager and by the time I close down I've either saved it or cut'n'pasted into Delphi ><< Maybe what Barry should have suggested is just remove the save button, >unless you want to give users the option of replacing a nice full file with >an empty one. >> > >What if someone *wants* to save an empty SQL file, for whatever reason ? I thought about that one and came to the conclusion that if somneone wanted to do that I couldn't think of the reason, but given the diversity of the human race I'm sure some will >You guys are assuming too much here. I keep on having this theory that I should amputate my fingers >In any case, I'll just formulate my wishes in thought, so you can >travel back in time and pour them into a message. Nope, that won't work. You have to type it then the electrons on my PC become under the influence of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, tunnel back in time and remote control me to duplicate your wishes. Roy |
