That's it exactly. I currently have to do both a CONTAINS and a LIKE

And never forget bug fixes equal new bugs <vbg>

Does that mean some of the features scheduled for EDB2 will be shifted to EDB3?  For example:

* Messaging layer for general messaging notifications and broadcasts with the ElevateDB server
* Ability to broadcast a message to search for any active EDB servers on the network and return the IP addresses
* A built-in web server in the EDB Server so that you can configure/start/stop a server via a browser
* Reverse-engineering for Configuration database objects

Thanks.

Regards,

Steve

Yes, this will most likely be the case, with the exception of the
reverse-engineering changes and possibly the web server additions.  Anything
that doesn't involve major structural changes I'll try to squeeze into the
existing 2.x codebase.  The messaging layer, for example, is a pretty big
structural change.

Thanks, I understand.  Any rough estimate on when EDB3 will be out, especially with the messaging layer?  I've been waiting on this for a long time so I just want to get an idea of when this might be available.

Thanks.

I'm shooting for mid-summer, around June-July.
