EWB 3 Build 13 - Problems With Search And Replace |
Wed, May 27 2020 10:22 PM | Permanent Link |
Rob Frye | There are a few concerns I've found with Search and Replace -
1) The up and down buttons perform a Search instead of Search and Replace. 2) The 'Case-sensitive search' button doesn't properly apply the setting. Instead the setting from the Search toolbar is used. 3) The 'Search the entire unit' button doesn't properly apply the setting. Instead the setting from the Search toolbar is used. |

<< 1) The up and down buttons perform a Search instead of Search and Replace. >> Do you have the prompt button selected on the replace toolbar (the document with footprints icon) ? << 2) The 'Case-sensitive search' button doesn't properly apply the setting. Instead the setting from the Search toolbar is used. 3) The 'Search the entire unit' button doesn't properly apply the setting. Instead the setting from the Search toolbar is used. >> These are now fixed for build 14. Thanks ! Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Do you have the prompt button selected on the replace toolbar (the document with footprints icon) ?>> It doesn't make any difference. Simply do a Search and then do a Search and Replace where the search text is different. If you then click on the Up or Down buttons in Search and Replace you will see it searches for the original text from the old Search. Rob |

Please let me know if you see this with build 14 when it's released. Thanks ! Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
