Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | Internal error loading the credentials (Error: 8009030D) I installed EWB B7 on a clean machine. I changed internal server to port 82. Everything works. Do a quick project - all is fine. I come back to this virtual machine a couple days later, I have done nothing to this machine or used it. As soon as I start EWB 3 B7 I get this error. Walter |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | I get this on my work machine as well. (See attachment)
Works fine on my laptop. Both machines are Windows 10 64 bit (Intel i7 - 16GB RAM - SSD's) Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: Walter, << Internal error loading the credentials (Error: 8009030D) I installed EWB B7 on a clean machine. Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Both Administrator accounts and User Account Control turned off.
I tried comparing the two machines today but I can't find any difference in the Windows setup. Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: Chris, << I get this on my work machine as well. Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | I have been looking at the certificates for the two computers and the one that cannot start the Web Server has the localhost certificate installed under Personal -> Certificates
The PC that works does not have any certificate installed for EWB that I can see at all! Chris Holland [Team Elevate] |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi Raul,
That is exactly what I see on the machine that cannot start the web server. I tried removing the certificate and reinstalling it using the 'ewbcert localhost -c' command Now I get the error message 'The Web Server cannot be started' See attachment. Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | On the machine that works the certificate does not show up but running 'ewbcert localhost' tells me that it is installed.

I know nothing of how this is implemented, but I'll mention that I had a certificate problem with them "disappearing" after a while. There is some stupid flag that you have to use to tell it to stick around beyond some timeout. Was very annoying as I tried to monitor it, and my monitor was keeping it alive. But I think it was 6 hours doing nothing and the machine would forget the certificate existed. If this might be related, I will dig up the details. |
