erickengelke | I added WebDataRocks to my Nice toolkit. It lets you make user-configurable reports in EWB which can export to PDF, printer, Excel, etc. Data import is from a standard EWB TDataset

Trinione | Lookin' good!
Can the component allow for PDF preview in the broswer? Say in a TBrowser component? erickengelke wrote: I added WebDataRocks to my Nice toolkit. That doesn't appear possible with the PDF because the library automatically saves it to your filesystem. I haven't dug deep in rewriting the library beyond removing some buttons. However, if you select Print (to printer), it brings up the print previewer as part of your browser. So maybe that's closer what you want. Trinione | Erick,
Once one can specify the location in the filesystem, then it's a simple URL for the TBrowser then. This is a really great find and addition! Their Blog has some informative articles also. erickengelke wrote: Trinione wrote: >Lookin' good! > Can the component allow for PDF preview in the broswer? Say in a TBrowser component? It's surprisingly good for a freely usable tool. I'm also looking at some more commercial products to integrate, obviously with more options and features, but cost is a real factor to be concerned about for many people, myself included. So that may or may not be a go. Erick EWB Programming Books and Component Library http://www.erickengelke.com |
