Hmm, as of end of work yesterday, I can no longer connect to the news server. That happens to be Monday-ish, when it was going to change.

Just me? Both my iPhone and Xananews with SSL enabled cannot connect.

No. I just tried with XanaNews. Worked yesterday, not today anymore.

I thought it was just me. and my old D6 homebrew app. I even went as far as creating a little test app so I could try embarcadero & elevatesoft - embarcadero worked but elevatesoft didn't. Then thought I'd come and have a look here.

Then it died for a couple of days.
But now it is back and active under both www...  and news...
Big sigh of relief.
Thank you Tim.  Surprised

I don't know what the issue was, as far as I knew it was up and running.  I have done some server reboots recently to disable TLS 1.0 and some other outdated ciphers on our server, so you may have been caught during one of those.

It does not matter now, but it was a longer term issue.  You will have
seen others report the same.
I left the 'Account' active in XanaNews and for about two days the
other accounts responded normally each time I ran a Quick Get, but
yours did not.
Of course it could be accessed through a browser all that time.  Surprised

There was a major outage for you - I checked with that "just me" site and
it agreed your whole site was down. If you don't have external monitoring,
I recommend binary canary.
