This is now an option. There should be a new build up by this evening some time. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Steve Gill | Hi Tim,
<< This is now an option. There should be a new build up by this evening some time. >> Are you sure it will be this evening, or more likely tomorrow? |

<< Are you sure it will be this evening, or more likely tomorrow? >> Double-whammy - ran into a build problem with the new built-in web server, and then had to go to Christmas party. Bah !!! -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Steve Gill | Hi Tim,
<< Double-whammy - ran into a build problem with the new built-in web server, and then had to go to Christmas party. Bah !!! >> That time of year. I was at a Christmas party all afternoon yesterday. Are we still looking at an official release tomorrow for non-alpha/beta version? I'm hanging out for the grid control and can't do much more without it. Steve |

This week was all about dealing with EWB issues, and so I've spent very little time on finishing the missing product features. Right now it looks like January 1st, provided that things die down over Christmas and I can get some work done. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Despite the delays, I'm amazed and what you get done. You must be a very fast coder because it's incredible how much work you do in a short space of time. Very impressive. Steve |

Writing a lot of code fast is easy. The difficult bit is writing good quality code either fast or slow! Even more difficult is writing smaller amounts of good quality code to do the same job as a lot of mediocre quality code. Roy Lambert |

<< Looks like it might be a birthday present for *me* then (referring to Roy's previous comment in a thread in the ElevateDB forums), as my birthday is in late January. >> Well, hopefully it won't take *that* long. << Despite the delays, I'm amazed and what you get done. You must be a very fast coder because it's incredible how much work you do in a short space of time. Very impressive. >> Thank you, comments like that mean a lot. I call this phase of development the "kick in the nuts" phase. You spend months doing development, and then get to hear every little thing that is wrong with what you just slaved over. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
