Is It Possible To Determine If A Report Has Been Sent To The Printer? |

Frederick Chin | When the back-end generates a PDF for a report and it is displayed in the browser, is there a way to determine if the report has been printed and this information passed back to the EWB application?
I want to limit re-printing of the report and changing a printed report. Is this a redundant effort because the user could just download the PDF and print it elsewhere? -- Frederick |

Plus I doubt you can really know if it is printed or not. Plus on some systems I could print it to PDF, and then you are stuck. Or print 100 copies. -- Matthew Jones |

As admirable as you want to be. Your user could just mock up their own report to look just like yours and pass it off as from your system - while never even using your system. How are you going to control that. Walter |

Thanks for the comments. All of them made sense, even Uli's. -- Frederick |
