PhillipH | Since I was having trouble with my RO based project under 1.03, I looked at the Elevate Web Builder and using modules. Sounds really good but I don't seem to be able to get any projects to use it. Initially was using the datasetclient example but just got page not found, so went back to trying 'cdcollector' or 'menus' examples with the 'External EWB Web Server using a custom dataset module' chosen in the IDE. Still always get page not found errors though they run OK with the Local Web Server. No firewalls active and Webserver started from Start menu link and is running. Environment settings seem OK and both IDE and Webserver on port 8080 ( though 80 also tried )
I presume I am making some presumptions I shouldn't or missing something basic ? |

It has to be set to a base folder that either a) is the output folder for the application that you're trying to run, or b) is some higher-up folder, and you're using a custom web server definition in the IDE that includes a sub-folder that specifies which folder is applicable to the current project. http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=ewb1&topic=Configuring_Server Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

EWB 3 allows you to easily deploy to an EWB Web Server as part of the API, so that should also help (once it's released). Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
