Richard Harding Wise Nutrition Coaching | A long time ago I had a URL for testing a connection to a database.
I do not know where I found this information or what the URL is. I have some rather vague notes with the following URLs. http://localhost:8300/databases?method=rows&database=esStock&dataset=esStockDetail&Category='' http://wck:8301/databases?method=rows&database=esStock&dataset=esStockDetail&Category='' Does anyone have any idea of what I am talking about. Ralf Mimoun | No immediate help, but maybe you can point the database part to a web server and check it's log? There should be everything the EWB server sends to try to connect to the database. Or Wireshark, of course.

<<No immediate help, but maybe you can point the database part to a web server and check it's log? There should be everything the EWB server sends to try to connect to the database. Or Wireshark, of course.>> I have not used Wiresahrk and checking the log is a bit more complicated than is probably necessary. I do remember someone going through the process of helping another to connect to an EDB database using EWB2 and as a final check to confirm all is well sending a URL to return rows from a specified dataset - a simple, generalised test.
