I just wanted to pop in to send everyone Christmas greetings and to give everyone an update on the 2.06 minor release.  I experienced a minor Christmas miracle and *finally* completed the auto-sizing functionality last night in the EWB layout manager.  It's now capable of handling very complex auto-sized layouts with nesting, stretching, overflow, etc. (the nested auto-sizing combined with centered layouts was where I was getting "tripped up"). This also means that I was able to cut out a lot of "layout-like" code in the component library, and all layout functionality can now be controlled with simple property modifications.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to release 2.06 before Christmas.  I will be finishing up a couple of loose ends early next week, and then I will be issuing a public 2.06 beta.  I decided on the beta because of the number of substantial changes to the layout functionality and control interfaces, including changes to how icon properties are specified, and I want to make sure that these changes don't break any production applications.

Also, my apologies for being a little sparse this week on the support forums.  It was a combination of trying to finish up the layout changes and a lot of support issues coming in due to the upcoming Christmas break.  I will be back here on Monday to resume a normal support presence.  Of course, I'm sure all of the regulars have been doing a great job with answering questions, which is always very much appreciated.
