Hi

Just trying to make use of the fontawesome icons in my app.

I have tried the following:

1. Downloaded and copied all fontawsome files to my project directory

2. Added fontawesome.otf to project manager (external files)

Would this not make it available for use in the project ?

3. Opened an icon library

4. Added a new state

5. Double clicked on content and select a new icon.

The fontawsome stuff does not show up !!!

Just dont work for me so I am missing some steps !!

Thanks

Kamran

This is what I did.

1 - Install the fonts to your Windows. (Right-click on the file and hit Install). Check via Windows Fonts that it exists.

2 - Add a new icon using one of the default fonts as a base. Copy from 'Find' for example.

3 - Select the 'FontIcon' element.

4 - Change the Font | Name to your font name you installed in Step 1.

5 - Select font via 'Content | Symbol | Select.

Kamran,

Just to clarify: you do understand that 90% of FontAwesome is in the built-in EWB icons, don't you ?

No, you need to install the OTF/TTF file into the Windows installed font collection first before you can use it in the IDE.
