Uli,

I'm (finally) looking at your test project today, and yes, you're right that the TIcon controls (and others) get messed up when you add in your custom interfaces.

I'm still not sure what's going on, though, because it *doesn't* occur with Chrome after a refresh, and there doesn't seem to be any exceptions being thrown in any situation.  EWB will happily ignore any UI elements that have been created, but aren't available in a given interface (your situation with your interfaces, which are missing that FontIcon element), so I'm a little perplexed as to the cause at this point.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Uli,

I'm not really getting anywhere here with this.  It doesn't seem to be following any sort of pattern at all, and I can't come up with a scenario whereby the problem happens elsewhere.

The part that is the most confusing is the refresh.  A refresh should result in the *exact* same set of behaviors as the original load, but with the Chrome it stops happening on the refresh.

So, for now I'm going to have to chalk this up to an issue with Chrome and the initial loading of the assets when there is an issue with the control interfaces.

OK, thanks for the information.

At least we know where to look if such an issue occurs again.
