EWB used to have TForm as the ancestor class when creating a new form but since the latest update it defaults to TDialog.

Is there an underlying reason for this (ie is it suggesting I should use that as a default - can't imagine that to be so) or just a consequence of TD being before TF ?

Not seeing it here - mine defaults to TForm still.

Renaming INi and letting it create new one default to TForm in my case
also so i'd say TForm is still the default.

Any chance you changed this to TDialog in settings at some point before
so it kept the INI setting ?

Ok, so it's benign then.

No, it surprised me when I loaded the latest release and I started a new project. I've never used anything other than TForm and EWB has never offered me anything else by default.

It doesn't matter - I just wondered if there was any reason to use TDialog instead, but there's not, so all is good.
