squiffy Telemix Ltd. | I find it difficult to select a grid on the design page when you have added a couple of columns. I only seem able to select the columns themselves.
Would it be possible to have an easily clickable bit of the grid which doesn't get covered by columns for ease of selection? I know I can select it from the object inspector, but when I've created half a dozen badly named grids (Grid1, Grid2, etc.) it becomes a chore to find the one I'm looking for. Cheers. |

Does this solve the problem? Richard Harding |

squiffy Telemix Ltd. | Well, blow me down with a feather. So it does.
And yes, that does solve my problem. Thanks for that. Where did you read about that? There must me lots of other things like this I don't know about. |

It is standard in Delphi so makes it automatic for Delphi users in EWB. -- Matthew Jones |

Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | Delphi works the same way. If you click on an object, then press ESC, the focus changes to the Parent, hit ESC again and focus moves to that controls parent control.

squiffy Telemix Ltd. | Ah, I'm not from Delphi (well, not since Windows 95 anyway - believe it's changed hands since then).
I'll find some delphi ide instructions and see what else I'm missing... Cheers. |
