Tabulator is certainly much more flexible and capable, at version 5.x, it handles the above problem very nicely.  But boy does it look like a lot of work to add.  I might consider a subset of the functionality... but this is definitely going to take a lot of time if I do it.

I'd really prefer to see native EWB have more the functionality rather than loading in this huge library which is probably overkill.
