So I installed EWB3 as well as the example applications. I have tried running two of the example applications and the same thing happened in both. When I run the application, there are no error messages and the IDE says the application is running. But I do not see it running anywhere! What am I doing wrong?

To clarify, this has nothing to do with being an example application. If I create a new visual client project with one form and one TLabel (of course  with caption Hello World!), the application runs but the browser window in the IDE remains blank and the mouse arrow has a spinning wheel next to it.

Although I did a fresh install of Windows 10 just a couple of months ago , I thought I would update to the latest version to see if this would make a difference. Lo and behold, things are now working as they should. Go figure.
