It appears they have already made a generous offer. We have academic
pricing for our products, but it is aimed at education and not the benefit
of the university itself. The staff of universities take home a sensible
salary, so why should they not pay for tools they use for their
Universities' benefit? Developer's often have only their products as the
means of getting bread on their table. When a tool is as cheap as EWB, I
think the discount offered is very fair.

I don't speak for ElevateSoft but i have found them very reasonable few
times i've had a special licensing situation.

Speaking from personal experience seeing certain level of commitment
helps things immensely. Something like "i have a class of X people using
EWB trial to build a web site as a class project over a semester. For
our final project we'd like to publish it with a commercial EWB version
- can you help us out" for me at least would carry lot more weight.

Ok Raul.

Matthew, I talked about University for only one reason : Showing that at different level, globaly, Pascal, here in France, as it is for my opinion the most pedagogic programming language, has disappear from schools.

I was asking for an academic version for, mainly, high school and college.
My main goal is : Make known the pascal programming language to younger generations and teachers using the fact that EWB establishes a bridge between the Web and "pascal". Working  to give "pascal" its rightful place in the world of programming.
