8-) From what Tim has said, he's been adding more updates to the waiting 1.03 so it
isn't static. But yes, I would love for Tim to be able to concentrate on EWB and
forget the databases (even though I use DBISAM!) but I suspect economics are
difficult. EWB has to be much more successful to allow that I would think (not
knowing anything about the details, but from experience running my own software
business). Me, I think that EWB is fantastic value, and would pay more, but that
would make it harder to sell wider against competition. Tough market, but the
product is, like all ElevateSoftware products, very solid and well supported.

I couldn't agree more.   I have all of Tim's products.  Even thought I have not used EDB for any project yet, I still purchased v1 and v2 (+ODBC) and have current support on all products  ... I'm just poking fun ...

I am a sole developer business and completely understand the situation, the economics and the easy at which we (me included) say it will be ready next....  

I'm preaching here to the choir - but EWB is an outstanding product = meaning solution for RAD Web development.

1.03 is coming out first (should be by tomorrow or Thursday, just finishing
up the docs).  2.0 will then be available as fast as I can get it out.

December was consumed by the web server move and ElevateDB 2.15, and my time
is still being taken with 2.15 bugs and minor annoyances with the web server
move, but things are clearing out and EWB will be start progressing a lot
faster as we move into February.

object pascal for web in first case,
and closest compability to Delphi & sufficient number of controls in second case..........
