Broken menu on iPad |

Matthew Jones | I am using the technique posted on these newsgroups for a pop-up menu. Basically it
uses a form with panels and labels to work as a menu. This has worked well for me. I have just found though that it is not working any more on the iPad. Or iPhone - just checked. But it works on the Nexus 7, Chrome, IE. I don't know if it is hanging or what - the app becomes unresponsive. The form's close button no longer works either. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I will see if I can remember how to link to my Mac again for the debug capability. /Matthew Jones/ |

Matthew Jones | Hmm, as output by EWB, I can select text in the menu.
The header: <meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes"> doesn't fix the problem. The Mac debugger shows no issue. It fails on iOS7 too. Hmm, it seems that it actually happens on all forms - the X to close another does not work. Buttons on the form work, but the form itself is inert. Clicks are not getting to the panels to be acted upon. /Matthew Jones/ |

Dare I ask how long to wait? Are you aiming for "soon, it's just urgent stuff" or "could be a while, got lots to do". I hope the former! Thanks. /Matthew Jones/ |
