Alan Questell Richmond Community College | I've built a prototype application for a viewer that may be distributed both locally (via flash drive) and through a server. I'm testing how to choose particular files using buttons or a list box.
But I'm getting strange inconsistencies using Firefox and Chrome. If I open the application directly through Firefox, it looks fine. However, Chrome doesn't display buttons and the listbox correctly. However, moving the exact same files to an Apache server (in the htdocs folder) and viewing through localhost gives the opposite results: Chrome looks fine; Firefox is messed up. I've attached screen shots to demonstrate. I get consistent results with IE. I'm using the latest version (as of last night) of both Chrome and Firefox. Chrome: Version 23.0.1271.91 m Firefox: 17.0 Funnelcake Jul 2012 Attachments: Chrome-Local.jpg |

This is also mentioned in the manual under the Themes topic, but it's a bit buried so it really needed a FAQ item. The other issue with FireFox/Apache, I tried it here using FireFox and Apache and everything works fine, so I'm thinking that there might be a deployment/copy issue with the theme .CSS file, or something similar.
