Robbie Fletcher | Will you release the source with the web server in v1.01? It would be very helpful if we could customize it like a middle-ware.

Raul Team Elevate | Tim would be the final answer on this but as there is no EWB
ide/compiler source code available i would doubt he would release the webversion in there. There is a sample delphi web server project in webbuilder binaries and Tim might post an updated version or samples but i don't think much has changed in there - the SOAP spec for EWB has remained same at this itme. If you own EDB then there is actually a web server component already present there which i believe he used as starting point anyways. And of course once the EDB gains the full web server support itself (likely next release) then you can just use or even modify the shipping edbsrvr if you have the source code license. << Will you release the source with the web server in v1.01? It would be very helpful if we could customize it like a middle-ware. >> The 1.01 web server will include the ability to create native modules for it using Delphi. There will be a separate installation that will install a module template into the IDE for Delphi 2009 and higher. The web server requires Unicode, so anything earlier is a no-go. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
