Feature Request: TPanel |

Mark Brooks Slikware | Hi TIm,
I hope that all is well at Elevate. Continuing to explore the joys of EWB at this end. I have a feature request for TPanel. It would be extremely nice to have an event fired when the panel icon was clicked. In this way we could provide a context menu specific to the panel contents. Trello use this to excellent effect in their web application. Extending further, you could also fire an event when the close icon was clicked so that it too could also be used as a custom trigger for something other than closing the panel (which is something that I imagine may rarely be used. Thanks Mark |

<< I hope that all is well at Elevate. Continuing to explore the joys of EWB at this end. >> Yep, things are progressing nicely and the new back-end EWB stuff will be ready soon. After that, I'm back on the client-side framework improvements and control additions. << I have a feature request for TPanel. The icon click event is a good one. Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I'll add these events in the process. The icon click event is a good one.>> Thanks Tim. The TPanel is fast becoming a core interface component for my apps. This will be an excellent addition, perhaps combined with your roadmap "menu" item, to allow a panel-specific menu activated by the icon click. Collapse and expand are icing on the cake. Question - It would be nice for different panels to utilise different headers and borders. I guess this is difficult right now due to the way that theming works? Keep at it! Mark |

<< Question - It would be nice for different panels to utilise different headers and borders. I guess this is difficult right now due to the way that theming works? >> Yes, but once I add an option to turn off theming and customize controls directly, then you'll be able to mix and match as necessary.
